Wendy Rickard is excited to return to her Lenawee County roots after a ten year absence. She has more than 20 years experience as a pianist, piano instructor, and accompanist, varying from the Lenawee Community Chorus, to the Croswell, and with Adrian College.
Wendy earned degrees in both Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from Spring Arbor University, along with a Mathematics Education program. She held positions at the Jackson Symphony Orchestra, both as Personnel Director and Director of the Community Music School, while building and maintaining a private piano studio in the area.
Wendy also has extensive experience as a church musician, and has been involved on both a staff level and as a volunteer at various churches in Michigan, Illinois, and Pennsylvania.
Wendy is teaching private piano students in the area, along with accompanying the College Choir and student recitals. She lives in Adrian with her husband, Brandon, and her two young children, Abby and Paul, where she enjoys reading, baking (OK, eating), and pretending to be a gardener.
